It's out and I've downloaded it, but it's a rainy day at the beach and I'm letting my kids and nephews play some Guitar Hero.

Oh, the sacrafices that our fathers and uncles made for us that we never knew about......

I should be trying out the demo in a little while though.

It seems very slow paced. And I dont like the running just yet.

i like it a lot. USC is damn good.

i've been running all over, but so far so good. WR control and Safety control is awesome.

can't wait to play with my noles.

Seems pretty nice...

My first game was exciting...

Went to OT and then my guy picked it off and ran it back to the house to win...

I wish I could get my wolverines, but Im too far back in the draft!

Should be a fun league!

After only a few games, here are my opinions.

Good:

1. I like the play calling screen.

2. Plays with 'green-routed' motion guys are cool. Might get old after a while.

3. I think it's pretty darn cool that developers even put out demos ahead of release. We used to have to buy a magazine to get a demo of a game that was already on sale. Downloadable demos of future games is cool!

Bad:

1. Rolling out is still extremely tempting for hitting the crossing routes.

2. Wish that we could try out a couple of mid-level teams to see how it feels with slower players.

3. Motivation feature doesn't seem to be impacted in the demo.

4. I realize this comment singles me out as a complete loser, but here goes: I want the drums from two years ago put back in the game. The drums from NCAA '06 were great. '07 seemed to drop a lot of the drums. Hard to say whether they're back based on the demo. You hear some drums, but I don't know if it'll be like it was in two years ago. {By the way, I never played in the school band and I have no musical ability whatsoever. But a college band is a big part of what makes the college atmosphere so fantastic.}

5. Tough to see the background replay when in the play calling screen.

6. Might be too many fumbles & injuries.

Note: I'm stuck with a small, non-highdef tv at the beach so I can't speak for graphics.

Game 2 for me:

3 INT returns for TD's (4 INTs total)

Not bad for a 2 quarter minute game!

Could be an interesting year haha

Fun game though

I'm looking forward to playing on Heisman, it's probably a completely different game... anyone interested on trading spots???

I need the top 15 and i'm willing to give up a lot.

Seems like way too many fumbles to me. Anyone else seeing that?

Also, is it too early to complain about the refs? I've had a int return for td, a kickoff return td, and a fumble recovery td all called back. Twice clipping and once was an instant replay overturn. Ouch!

Rob is right. I fumbled the kick off. Then USC fumbled, I recovered, then fumbled my recovery. 3 Fumbles in 13 Seconds....LOL...Looks pretty on my tv tho.

Sounds like everyone is having different experiences - good sign. I had one fumble in two games. But TOO many picks (of course, I was throwing it up for grabs into the USC secondary). Also, only one injury so far for me and I found it to be pretty balanced in terms of finding running room.

My overall impression is: HOORAY FOR 60 fps (or whatever it is now)! I hope this becomes the standard...

The demo feels better and better the more I play it. Much of it just feels right.

Still getting too many fumbles, but maybe I need to use the right bumper (protect ball) more often.

I'm on my in-laws 17-inch tube set at the beach so I can't say how it looks in high-def, but I'm assuming it looks pretty smooth.

Looking forward to next Monday night at midnight baby!!!

I'm just happy they let you play a whole game.

No fumbles for me but I picked off Michigan 6 times... :-\

I have to agree that there are alot of INT's in this game, but most of mine where justified. The thing I like the most is the Defence. All the things you can do now with the hot routes and I know you always had shifting, but the setup of it now (with the Dline and Linebackers along with Secondary )is much better. Man if Madden is like this on D...... omg it will be like playing 2k5 again.

I started covering the ball everytime contact was near and it stopped the fumbling.

It limited my big plays, but I kept possesion...maybe that's what EA's going for?

Can I chime in even though I will never buy an NCAA title?

I thought the GAME PLAY was great - football is football and this seemed the closest thing to FOOTBALL that EA has ever put out...

I hope these defensive adjustments get into Madden...

Kudos so far EA!
