they just drafted a TE...so they just want to score 60+ points a game and see what happens? Lions go 0-5 before winning their first game...I don't even know who they play week six...but they are going to kick them selves in the newly upgraded logo when they see they missed put on the Tebow- Samford sweepstakes.

As a lifetime Detroiter  yesterday was just another sad day for a Lions' fan, a QB who is already being setup to fail, a TE when there were two great linebackers left (reminder our best LB is the size of a safety, sorry Ernie), and then a safety out of  a "big time Wester Michigan program", no offense Western but damn, we have the sorriest fronts on both sides of the ball and havent addressed  it once this offseason, new GM, same owners, no regrets letting go of my season ticket two years ago, GO WINGS!!

I must chime in, Stafford wont be that bad. He'll come off the bench behind Daunte whose been impressing the lions staff with offseason work outs. So stafford may get a whole year of devolopment. TE was a stud pick, best in this year or nexy years draft, can run/pass block, athletic, great hands, nice footwork, could be the next big thing at TE.

That safety we took was the #1 SS on everyone grading scale, so I dont see it has a bad pick up. I do agree with selection of LB would of been great, but we have Juilian Peterson now, plus we have Leham I believe so we not to bad off I would of rathered LBs Clay Matthews or Ray Maguliga (USC) but theres always next yr. This rebuilding process is a 3 year deal, but this year should show signs of whats to come.

You forgot about the most important part of any football team, Offensive and Defensive Line
