So he is a free man! All in all, he will do more time including the house arrest than the human killer Dante Stallworth. I know its not Oranges to Oranges, and the Justice system had there way, but I still think that the life of a Human should be held to a higher standard than the life of an animal. I do not condone the actions of one Mike Vick, nor do I condone dog fighting- I would however, welcome the man back into the NFL. As a matter of fact, I will be wearing my #7 today. ( mostly to be a smart a$$ ) but also because the man deserves a shot. On the field he was AWESOME! Forget his passer rating- his WR were hot garbage, and his O-Line luke warm. The plays against Minnesota where he basically flew across the goal line, and then finished it off with a 25 yard scamper for the W. The Playoff win up in Lambeau. Maybe its because I'm a Bear fan, and I enjoy watching them lose. But I hope Goodell  goes  6 maybe 8 games on the suspension- I mean he already has had 2 years away, a signing bonus deducted, lost his job and did his time. Look at the Tank Johnson situation with the assault weapons and 1000's of rounds of ammo. Look at Pac Man Jones thing- he had a man shot...well thats yet to be determained. Leonard Little..MURDERER. Ray Lewis..justice obstuctor....

I'm not a die hard Vick fan, I just saw the poll question and been watching ESPN and my 3 year old doesnt have an opinion on the matter.

I agree with everything you just stated.  Leonard Little is a POS by the way.  So you were dead on with what you said about that garbage.

The Poll question was "Should the NFL WELCOME back Michael Vick", to that I say "NO".  He should serve his suspension (being incarcerated doesn't count as serving a suspension), then he has to EARN a spot on a team.  After that is completed he can once again be considered an NFL player.

I dont think earning a spot would be a problem. He left a playoff QB on the rise, and defense were game planning for him. Buffalo, New York Jets, Tampa, Minnesota, San Fran, Detroit, and Houston can plug him in as a starter and be in better position. San Diego, Chicago, Denver, Kansas City are one Brady injury away from needing him too. He shouldn't be black listed or unwelcomed after his suspension.

i don't see why he should stay suspended, he lost out in millions of dollars, lost his freedom and now kids who looked up to him see a negative image of him....i say a suspension is not needed for him to learn from his mistake cause he has already learned from...he served his time now LET HIM PLAY!

He did hard time. Way worse than whathever jackass Pacman did.

Shit, if you've ever even been in cuffs you've done more than those that have been in "custody" for most star athletes and people in hollywood.

Vick did hard time, paid his penance. Let him play.

Couldn't have said it better than everyone else already has.  If you've ever been locked up, or just lost some of your freedom for a few days, you would understand that Vick has paid the ultimate price.  The sad part is that even when the commish lets him back in, theres a very strong possibility that none of the owners will be willing to take on that pr nightmare, so shit , the least you can do is throw dog a bone, oops!

Just win baby! Haha but yea they need to let him play. It's not like giving him any more time off is going to make what he's already had to go through any worse. As many of you have said  a lot of other players have done worse with no where near the penalty that Vick has had.
