You gotta feel for LT.  Such a great player and good guy.  His body just won't cooperate with him.  A few years ago he dominted the league and now it's to the point I highly doubt he'll be back in SD next year barring a amazing comeback this season.  Which will be pretty hard with your back up playin like a number 1.   To this day it blow's me away how short the average life of a RB is.

I agree.  This reminds me of Priest Holmes ( a fantasy GOD ).   Priest IMO was the greatest Chiefs RB for what he did... and he too was done fairly quickly.  Priest however had that Bo Jackson tackle from behind that ruined his hip (he came back), then the shot that Merriman gave him which doctors then said, one more hit like that and you could be paralyzed (he had narrowing of the spine).   Guess we should pay attention to Adrian Peterson and enjoy it while it lasts :)

Another big example is TD.  Dude ran for 2000 yards in a season, and was Super Bowl MVP.  More than both of the two running backs that you have both mentioned.  Short life for running backs.  Its crazy....

  "Yeah, it's like that."
